Expressions in Art

At La Rose Wellness, I believe that creative expression is an essential part of the healing process, and that art has the power to connect us with our inner selves, unlock our creativity, and bring us a sense of peace and joy.

My Expressions in Art workshop is designed to help you explore your creative side and discover the artist within. Each workshop is personalized to meet your unique needs and interests, and will include guidance on various mixed media techniques.

During each session, you will have the opportunity to explore different materials and mediums, such as watercolors, acrylics, oils, and dyes. You will be encouraged to experiment and play, and to follow your intuition as you create your own unique masterpiece.

My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express yourself creatively and connect with your inner artist. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, our workshops are designed to help you enhance your artistic gifts and create something truly special.

At the end of each session, you will have a completed art piece that will be a special part of your artistic portfolio. You will also have a greater sense of self-awareness and a deeper connection to your own creativity.

A Journey Through
Your Chakras

A Journey Through Your Chakras workshop is a unique and creative way to explore the seven energy centers, or chakras, of the body. In this workshop, you will create an intentional and colorful display of seven mini hand-colored weaves to hang in your sacred space.

Each weave represents one of the seven chakras and will be infused with the healing energy of Reiki. You will learn about the characteristics, colors, and symbols associated with each chakra, and will be guided through a meditation to connect with each energy center.
​
As you weave and color each mini tapestry, you will infuse it with your own unique intentions and energy, creating a powerful and meaningful piece of art that reflects your personal journey through the chakras.

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels and is a great way to explore the chakras in a fun and creative way. Whether you're new to the world of energy healing or are a seasoned practitioner, this workshop will provide you with a deeper understanding of the chakras and their significance in our lives.
At the end of the workshop, you will have seven beautiful and meaningful weaves to hang in your home, reminding you of the power and importance of balancing and aligning your chakras on your healing journey.
Color Play
90 minutes | $150.00
My Color Play workshop is a fun and creative way to explore the world of color and create a beautiful piece of art for your home. In this workshop, you will play with color dyes and create gradients of color on four mini weaves, and then use your favorite blends to create a handmade weave for your homespace.

During the workshop, you will learn about color theory and how to create harmonious blends of color. You will experiment with different dyeing techniques, such as dip-dyeing, tie-dyeing, and ombre dyeing, to create a range of stunning color gradients on your mini weaves.
​
Once you've perfected your color blending skills, you will use your favorite blends to create a larger, handmade weave that reflects your personal style and creativity. Our experienced instructor will be on hand to guide you through the weaving process and provide tips and tricks for creating a beautiful and unique piece of art.

At the end of the workshop, you will have four mini weaves and one intentional handmade masterweave that you can proudly display in your home. You will also have a deeper understanding of color theory and the art of dyeing, and a newfound appreciation for the beauty and power of color and how it affects our mood.
